Audrey George, Owner/CEO
Tanana/Fairbanks

Audrey is a mother of four and married to Warren George of Nulato. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2014. Audrey served as Vice-President for Tozitna, Limited where she met Cindy Shilling, CPA and eventually started ANC Accounting. Audrey volunteered for the FNA Headstart Policy Council and eventually was elected as the President of Fairbanks Native Association. She is the current President of the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center Board of Directors, as a Family Representative, and is proud to honor her late “Uncle Big” in this capacity.  Audrey’s longest serving board work was for the Yukon 800 Marathon, the longest, roughest and toughest speed boat race in the world- doing everything from bookkeeping to painting boats.

Chalisa Attla, Accountant
Fairbanks

Chalisa is our Staff Accountant. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance from UAF's School of Management in 2015 and graduated from Doyon Leadership Training in 2016. In our office, her main focus is payroll including state and federal tax returns. She also sets up and maintains accounting software for current clients, new clients, and our office. Some of her other roles include accounts payable/receivable as needed, managing shareholders scholarships, special projects for board of directors, annual meeting preparations, and "other duties as assigned". Chalisa aspires to assist clients to run their companies seamlessly in their day-to-day operations while still having the ability to work remotely from anywhere in the world. This influence has made our Covid-19 experience a much smoother transition then expected. She enjoys traveling out-of-state in the Winter, watching dog races in the Spring, and hunkering down for Alaskan Summers preferably around a fire pit with some good music, endless sun, and great company.

Betty Huntington, Special Projects/Accountant
Anchorage/Galena

Betty has over 30 years of leadership and managerial experience in various organizations. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Her management experience includes working in both small and large Alaska Native Corporations. In addition to working part time for ANC Accounting on special projects such as board and leadership training and working with client boards of directors, Betty currently serves as CEO for Mallard Duck Bay, a subsidiary of Chignik Lagoon Native Corporation. She also serves on the Doyon, Limited board of directors. Her experience includes 11 years as CEO of Gana-A’Yoo, Limited including service as president for its subsidiaries and 13 years as the Controller for Doyon. She also served on the board for Gana-A’Yoo between 1994 and 2007. Her goal is to use her experience and qualifications to meaningfully contribute to the success of both the individuals and any companies she works with.

Elizabeth Huntington, Records Technician
Ruby/Galena/North Pole

Elizabeth Huntington, I am a shareholder of Dineega and Doyon, and am from Ruby and Galena. I work as a Records Technician with ANC Accounting. I love traveling, reading, bible study, gardening and summers in Fairbanks.

Roxanne Knudson, Records Technician
Fairbanks/Fort Yukon

Roxanne is the newest team member to join ANC Accounting. Roxanne has two children and her fiancé and they recently relocated their family to Fairbanks but Fort Yukon will always be home. She graduated in May 2017 from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a Bachelor of Arts in Rural Development. Roxanne looks forward to fall moose hunting, road trips with her family and spends her free time beading.
